On the eve of the 7th round of negotiations for Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union, the Centre for International Policy Studies at the University of Ottawa, in collaboration with the Centre for European Studies at Carleton University and the Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue, is organizing a half-day conference on the economics, business and politics of CETA as well as the reporting on CETA in the Canadian and European media. The goal of the conference is to raise the level of public awareness of the CETA negotiations and provide a public forum for discussing its merits and the obstacles that it faces politically.
