Canadians have an opinion about their Arctic region but we rarely focused on how the actual Arctic residents of the Canadian Arctic felt about pressing Arctic issues and debates. This event will communicate data from a survey conducted among Arctic residents in Canada. Their opinions about Arctic security, economic development and governance will be shared.

Speakers: 

Mathieu Landriault is the director of the Observatory on Politics and Security in the Arctic (OPSA).

Mirva Salminen is an associate professor at the University of Tromsø.
