The Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) is pleased to open the third Call for Applications for the annual ‘CIPS Research Initiative (CRI)’ competition. Independent from the CIPS Research Networks, the CRIs are intended to spur new collaborations and outputs. We encourage innovative, cutting-edge proposals on contemporary challenges in international affairs, designed to contribute to on-going scholarly and/or policy debates. One proposal will be funded up to a maximum of $10 000. Eligible expenses include, but are not limited to, workshops at CIPS and research assistance. Awarded funds can be used over a period of two to three years. Possible research outputs include Special Issues of journals, edited collections, or policy reports. With the objective of fostering new collaborations and projects within CIPS, the participation of a minimum two (2) CIPS members is required.
Proposals should be maximum four pages long and should include the following information:
