Gilles Paquet is Emeritus Professor at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on economic history and policy,governance and public management. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and of the Royal Society of Arts of London and has received honorary doctorates from Queen’s, Laval, and Thompson Rivers University and the Public Service Citation Award of APEX. He is also an Honorary Member of l’Association des économistes québécois, an honour bestowed on only half a dozen persons over the last thirty years. He has been a Member of the Order of Canada since 1992.
His presentation will be based on his recent Télescope publication, ” La difficile émergence d’une gouvernance mondiale baroque“.
