The Honorable Vital Kamerhe will be speaking of causes of war in the region, the main actors of insecurity in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in general and in the eastern part of the country, and of the peace efforts. The second part of his presentation will consist of an evaluation of peace and the security situation in the Great Lakes region as well as prospects for pacification.
