Gervais Doumtsop Kanouo holds a PhD. in Economic and Social History from the University of Dschang in Cameroon. A Professor and researcher by profession, he has held positions of responsibility in university administration such as Academic supervisor between 2012 and 2015 at École de management Bretagne Atlantique in France, relocated to Cameroon. Then, he was the student admissions officer between 2015 and 2017. From 2017 to 2022, he held the positions of research coordinator and graduate program coordinator respectively at the Institut Universitaire de la Côte (IUC). From November 2022 to February 2024, he was Intermediate Officer, Academic Administration at the School of Psychology in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa. He has been the Lead Coordinator for CIPS and the Centre on Governance since February 2024, as well as a CIPS Research Associate, 2025-2026. In addition, he is a part-time Professor in the School of International Development and Global Studies.
