Andrew Pickford, Director, Indo-Pacific Energy Security Program, Perth USAsia Centre
Andrew Pickford works between Perth, Australia and Mont-Tremblant, Quebec in the areas of strategy, economic analysis, and natural resources with a range of organizations, both private and public. He has particular expertise with electricity utilities, commodity trends, industry-driven applied research and the reform and transformation of businesses and governments during periods of turbulence. Andrew maintains a mix of appointments and engagements in both Australia and North America, working with decision makers in corporate, government, academic, and civil society settings.

Mark Stickells, Director, Business Development and Innovation, University of Western Australia
Mark Stickells, a new venture strategist and company director, has more than 20 years of experience working in joint ventures, R&D, and collaborative research programs, including roles as Chief Executive and Institute Director. Since 2015, Mark’s focus has been on UWA-wide innovation, cultural transformation, and industry engagement closely aligned with State and National innovation strategies. He plays a central role in liaising with multidisciplinary networks across UWA, Australia, and internationally to foster collaboration between researchers, industry, and entrepreneurs to help bring new ideas and technologies to market.
