Joshua Rovner is Associate Professor of Strategy and Policy at the U.S. Naval War College, adjunct professor in the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, and reviews editor of The Journal of Strategic Studies. Rovner is the author of the recent book, Fixing the Facts: National Security and the Politics of Intelligence (Cornell University Press, 2011). Other recent publications include “Is Politicization Ever a Good Thing?” Intelligence and National Security (forthcoming); “The Heroes of COIN,” Orbis; and “Dominoes on the Durand Line? Overcoming Strategic Myths in Afghanistan and Pakistan,” with Austin Long, in Foreign Policy Briefing, (Cato Institute, June 2011). Professor Rovner holds a PhD in political science from MIT.
