The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees will propose a Global Compact on Refugees in his annual report to the General Assembly in 2018. In response to the recently released “zero draft” of this compact, panelists will discuss the origins of the compact, prospects for international collaboration to improve the lives of refugees, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the current draft.
