China and India are often bracketed as growing economies with which the OECD countries must come to terms. A closer look reveals that economic reform has taken very different pathways, with very different results, in the two countries.
Richard French was president and CEO of Tata Communications in India, a mobile telephony joint venture between Tata and Bell Canada, from 1995 to 1999.
