Professor Susser is former Director of the Moshe Dayan Center, Tel Aviv University, and a leading authority on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. His current research is looking at the Palestinian state of the future and its relations with Israel and Jordon. Prof. Susser has taught for over twenty-five years in the Tel Aviv University’s Department of Middle Eastern History. His research and teaching has focused on Modern Middle Eastern History, Religion and State in the Middle East, and Arab-Israeli issues, with special reference to Jordan and the Palestinians. Professor Susser is currently working on his seventh book which focuses on Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian relations since 1948.
