Presented by the Chair on Ukrainian Studies and CIPS
In the past several days, the Russian attack on Ukraine has intensified, with several cities (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Sumy, Chernihiv and many others) under intense bombardments with the number of civilian casualties rising rapidly. Yet the Ukrainian army, government, and civilian population continue to display remarkable resilience.
The Chair of Ukrainian Studies and the Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) at the University of Ottawa invite you to join a special event on the war with Andriy Shevchenko, former Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, currently serving in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry in Kyiv.
The event will be in English.
Speaker:
Hon. Andriy Shevchenko, Former Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, currently in the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Kyiv
Andriy Shevchenko was Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada between 2015-2021. He previously served as an MP in the Ukrainian parliament (Rada) in the opposition coalition (Batkivshchyna) headed by Yulia Tymoshenko. Moderated by:
