In Bill C-22, the government proposes a committee of parliamentarians with access to secret information and charged with scrutiny of Canada’s security and intelligence community. Would this committee resolve national security accountability issues in Canada? Are the reach and powers of the proposed committee adequate? Three parliamentarians will join academics on a panel to discuss these and other matters.
