In this Town Hall event, Patti Tamara Lenard of the University of Ottawa will moderate a discussion between stakeholders in Canada’s private refugee sponsorship program. The Government of Canada has partnered with the University of Ottawa, UNHCR, the Open Society Foundations, and the Radcliffe Foundation to promote this program globally. Our discussion will offer a chance for those most intimately involved in delivering the program in Canada to share the lessons they have learned over the many years it has been in operation. Please join us, participate in the discussion, and share the energy and expertise that Ottawans direct towards welcoming refugees.
