For the past week, the whole world has watched in shock the unspeakable military aggression by Russia on Ukraine, causing already hundreds of deaths and half a million refugees. The Chair of Ukrainian Studies and the Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) at the University of Ottawa invite you to a special panel on the war.

François Audet is an expert on humanitarian crises.
Anna Colin Lebedev works on the sociology of wars in Russia and Ukraine.
Thane Gustafson has written several books on the Russian economy and energy.
Anastasia Riabchuk is a sociologist of vulnerable communities and is currently a refugee of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Guillaume Sauvé is a political scientist who is interested in Russian narratives.
Dominique Arel is the author (with Jesse Driscoll) of the book Ukraine’s Unnamed War (forthcoming).
