On the eve of the 7th round of negotiations for Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union, CIPS is organizing a half-day conference on the economics, business and politics of CETA as well as the reporting on CETA in the Canadian and European media. The conference aims to raise public awareness of what could be the most important economic and trade agreement since NAFTA and to provide a public forum for discussing CETA’s merits and the obstacles that it faces politically.
