Barry Rubin is the Director of the Global Research in International Affairs (GLORIA) Center at the Interdisciplinary Centre, and one of the best known authors on the Arab-Israel conflict, terrorism, and
general Middle Eastern security and history. He has received numerous prestigious fellowships, including: Fulbright, Council on Foreign Relations, U.S. Institute of Peace, and the Washington Institute
for Near East, and is the editor of The Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA). He has written and edited numerous books including: The Arab-Israel Reader and The Long Road to Freedom: The Arab Struggle for Democracy in the Middle East. Dr. Rubin has been a frequent contributor to The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, and Foreign Policy.
