The Netherlands and Canada are both committed to active participation in current and future United Nations Peacekeeping missions. This seminar offers the opportunity for an interactive debate on how participation in UN Peacekeeping missions can be most effective, and will address both the integrated approach and the military and policing perspectives. Dutch and Canadian representatives, as well as UN experts, will share their views, experiences and recommendations. Speakers will include: The Hon. Lt. Gen. Roméo Dallaire; Dutch Maj. Gen. Patrick Cammaert; University of Ottawa Senior Fellow Mrs. Carolyn McAskie, and Canadian Forces College Professor Dr. Walter Dorn, among others.
