Louisa Taylor of Refugee 613 will moderate a discussion with High Commissioner Filippo Grandi. He is in charge of the UN agency tasked to protect refugees worldwide. The discussion will focus on the many challenges he faces in fulfilling that mandate, and how the people of Ottawa are responding to the global refugee crisis. Please join us and participate in the discussion – and share the energy and dedication Ottawans are putting into welcoming refugees.
