Eric Helleiner is Professor of Political Science at the University of Waterloo and CIGI Chair in International Political Economy at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. His most recent books include Global Finance in Crisis: The Politics of International Regulatory Change (Routledge, 2010) and The Future of the Dollar (Cornell, 2009). He was recently a Trudeau Foundation Fellow and a member of the Warwick Commission on International Financial Reform. He is presently co-editor of the book series Cornell Studies in Money and is researching the political economy of the global financial crisis.
