Najim Dost has a PhD in International Studies from the University of Denver, where he wrote on the effectiveness of foreign aid with Afghanistan as a critical case study. He received his MPA in International Development from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and he completed his undergraduate studies at Trent University, studying economics and business administration.

He has over a decade of professional experience in the area of international development, particularly program evaluation in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, the United States, and Canada. As a Credentialed Evaluator, he has consulted for various clients including the World Bank, BBC World Services, US Department of State, and GAVI Alliance. He is currently serving as the National Manager, Corporate Performance Measurement at the Canadian Forces Morale & Welfare Services (CFMWS) in Ottawa.
