Sheri Meyerhoffer is a governance and human rights specialist focused on responsible business conduct and international policy. She served as Canada’s first Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise, establishing and leading the federal office responsible for reviewing human rights complaints linked to Canadian companies operating abroad. Her work examines how governments, companies, and international institutions shape standards for responsible economic activity. Sheri has advised governments, international organizations, and civil society on governance reform and stakeholder engagement in complex political environments, including international democracy and governance initiatives. She holds a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and contributes to teaching and policy dialogue on human security, conflict, and responsible business practices.
